Little Tidbits...

Well it has been a while since I wrote on my blogspot, and I was getting grief from my few followers so here goes...

The quitting smoking thing is going, well let's just say non-existent. I haven't really tried I think I'm trying to work my mind around that still. It's not that I don't want to, I know it will kill me, I know the effects of tobacco on my life, but somehow I just like the excuse. Excuse to have alone time in the garage while I bullshit with my friends and family without disturbing my husbands TV programs. Excuses to take a few minutes from work or stressful situations and not feel like I'm bailing out on anyone. But most of all I wish people would stop telling me to stop smoking! Me being the headstrong person that I am, when people tell me to do something it makes me want to keep going! I know stupid right? Well, I can't help it, that's just the way I am! I will eventually succumb to the rantings of my family and put my butts out, but right now I just can't seem to grasp the concept. Oh well, love me or leave me! Ha ha! Joking don't leave me....:)

As far as the working out and dieting thing goes, it is actually on it's way! I have been doing 30 minutes of walking, rollerblading, or my workout DVD 3 times a week. Right now I'm starting Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Once my tired and sore body becomes used to that, I will soon increase it to an hour three times a week, then try four times a week and so on. I am hoping that this exercising stuff will help me realize that I could catch my breath much better if I stopped smoking, and therefor convincing myself that quitting smoking would be great! Anyway, I will post more on the weight loss when I actually see results. I would tell you how much I weigh now but I'm just not that comfortable with it. How about I just tell you how much I lose?! ;)

I've come to the realization that brown nosers get ahead in life and I don't understand why? When someone works their tale off and do a great job, but actually have a mind of their own and state their opinions they don't receive any respect. But, when someone who does enough to get by, barely show up for work on time, don't put in any extra work, and agrees with everything that comes out of the "bosses" mouth, they will get promotion after promotion. What is wrong with the working world today. Wouldn't you want to surround yourself with people that have different opinions so that you might be able to better come up with solutions to problems. If you have all suck ups around you will all have the same opinion as the "boss". I just don't understand I guess, and it is a sad sad thing to realize that most of the time it is women that have authority that do these things. I am a woman and I hate to admit this but it's true...."women bosses suck!" I said it that's right I am a woman boss hater!

Well that's enough Momma Drama for today I will write something more jovial next time! Thanks for checking in!

The Beginning

So I guess I will start from the beginning...

They say when you break a mirror you will have 7 years of bad luck, well I had a child 3 years ago and my luck has fled me like the air in your intestines when you eat too much fiber! Just a quick run down of things that have happened...

Baby in NICU for 6 weeks
Cervical Cancer
Husband unemployed for 10 months
Brother in law has heart attack
Constant ear infections from my daughter
House is falling apart (washing machine broke, plumbing broken, carpet torn up, tree snaps in half, the list goes on)
Finances are out the window
And that's just to name a few!

Well I decided instead of getting all depressed and cynical about life, why not write a blog? Well everyone else is doing it, and I'm pretty sure I have plenty of material, what with all my daily drama! Several things in my life are soon to change, I am going back to school in August for Respiratory Therapy and my dad will be watching my 3 yr old daughter Riley. I see visions of my daughter walking around barefoot with a towel wrapped around her like a sumo wrestler in prevention of any "accidents" that may or may not happen. My father is so sweet to watch her for me, but I'm still skeptical of how that will actually happen. (I will pray to the potty Gods) I have also decided to stop smoking, and go on a diet. All these changes at once will more than likely not happen but I'm getting it out there so that I have it set in stone!
So a fresh funky look at life through the eyes of a Momma with a whole lot of Drama! Could be funny, could be a complete train wreck, but then again that is the story of my life.
